「Problem」– Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azalea

Problem (ft. Iggy Azalea) has hit the ears of every Arianator and fan out there, and before we knew it, it shoved its way to the top of the iTunes chart list at #1, beating out Pharrell’s Happy and John Legend’s All of Me. So wow, but it was actually no surprise. Ariana’s fans do not waste any time.

Grab the single, available now on iTunes! (“Problem” is the first single from Ariana’s new and upcoming album titled, “Sophomore.”)

Now moving on to reviewing the actual song…

The song is catchy and fun with a jazzy uptempo beat but it’s nothing spectacular, in my opinion. Also, the lyrics are complete crap. According to her wikia"Problem" is "about knowing you'd be better off without someone but you can't resist them and need them no matter what." Well, I can’t expect anything else from pop stars.

I do love Ariana’s voice overall; she has a real and strong voice, meanwhile however, I'm not a fan of Iggy Azalea. I know rapping has a certain style to it, one that Iggy obviously showcases, but in all honestly it just sounds incongruous to the rest of the song. Then again, without Iggy's part the song would be too repetitive and boring. And also it's like a trend that pop stars ought to have a rapper in their songs... Problem also has Big Sean whispering the lyrics in the chorus (but he didn’t make the cut for being a featured artist - lol).

Anyway, for the majority, the song has been received positively – it is fun and all that jazz, but I give Problem a neutral 3/5 stars.

In any case, check her out through her social media:
